Or, how great marketing wins? I made a list of packages I’m expecting this week and it’s embarrassing. I didn’t think I was shopping online much but the eight packages I’m currently waiting on certainly appear to make a liar of me.

- MadRabbit (tattoo cream) – I’ve been obsessive about coconut oil on my new tat (4 weeks old today!), but got sucked in by this Shark-Tank-appearing tattoo aftercare balm. And then bought the sunscreen too.
- Zaful (swimsuits) – I posted this last week, just waitin’ on my hopefully-not-too-tiny dino ‘kinis
- Thermacell – Yes, I already ordered mosquito pots that are supposed to make my yard a skeeter-free zone. But did I also order a portable thermacell because I can’t overstate how much I hate mosquitoes and how much they gnaw on me in the summer? Yes, yes I did. On sale for just $34 with code 20OUTSIDE (thanks Outside Mag). Does it work? Idk but I’m willing to try anything to keep mosquitos away from me without having to spray bug spray all over myself.
- Invinio (wine) – I am a victim of great marketing around a no-intervention Syrah on sale for half price. (I did actually do my due diligence and go to the winery’s website where it’s still listed for full price). With free shipping at 6 bottles, how could I refuse? - Balanza Vineyard (wine club) – My biannual shipment of wine from my friends’ winery. Cannot. Wait.
- Round rug – for the new sitting area in the front room. Question: are round rugs out or just on their way back in and I’m ahead of the trend again? Because this sure was hard to find.
- Linda Finegold – if you know my friends, you can imagine who turned me on to this site… but it’s so cheap you can’t not spend your money on stupid things*! #bromance *most of it is way too extreme for me, but it is funny.
- Flo Vitamins – an instagram ad got me this time … the hormonal acne around my period has been outrageous the last couple of months, so I’m praying these work as well as the ads claim. I’m currently on a gummy vitamin kick anyway after not sticking with other vitamins for longer than a month. Join me with $10 off.
