- Sacks and the City podcast episode 18 is our longest at 54 minutes, but it’s really like eavesdropping (with permission) on a long conversation between friends. I’m curious to see if the reaction to it is any different than other eps.
- I sucked it up and bought YouTubeTV for at least the rest of football (and Bachelor(ette)) season. So far, I’m very happy with it—it has all the channels I want, and being able to come in at any point live and start at the beginning or join live is a great feature the other streaming services don’t seem to have.

- I got a ninja blender for Christmas and have been making blended soups. TOO EASY! Just throw veggies in and blend!
- Y’all, I made the Christmas cookie recipe I posted last week and those cookies were DAMN GOOD. Very crunchy.
- Short-lived by much-lauded Le Cowboy in Austin is closing next month; I kind of want to try it before its gone but I also don’t want to get addicted and not be able to have it!

- It’s time for my next tattoo, and I have been down an Austin-tattoo-artist rabbit hole where I discovered the charming and perfect Tiny’s Tats. Minimalist with lots of line work AND all female artists? My kinda place.
- I wasn’t sold on the Kindle Paperwhite when I first ordered it on Black Friday, but the rest of the compound convinced me to try it and now I love it. It’s super lightweight, easy to use, and I like the size a lot more than I expected.
- I used Carvana to buy a new truck that I LOVE (more to come). But now I am obsessively shopping new tires… not that I need them, but how much more badass could my truck look?! Also I’m so annoyed that I don’t have boy brain and have to re-google wtf 275/70/17 means every time I have to shop for tires.
