COVID Checklist Week 6

A special section for special times. This is what kept me covidtained? this week. Can you believe it’s week 6? Last week’s list hereWeek 4 hereWeek 3’s hereWeek 2’s here. There is no Week 1 because we didn’t know back then.

Workouts…

  • BASKETBALL. I have gotten to shoot every day and it makes me so happy. Still don’t have a backboard.
  • Greasing the Groove … love the idea of picking one thing to work on (handstands) throughout the day.
  • OrangeTheory free workouts! (*Ha we all know I don’t cardio but just sayin’ IF you like this shizz it’s another resource)

Challenge

  • I think it’s helpful to have challenges during the pandemic time, so this week’s challenge shall be dancing every day. Dance class, dance break, dance around the kitchen, just dancing done every day for at least 10 minutes. It’s hard to be sad/mad/upset whilst dancing! Check back in next week.

Feed Me: Recipe Chain Letter

OK friends, are we really still sending me this?!

  • I tried three deliveries of Hungryroot, which all but solved my grocery delivery conundrum during quarantine. The premise is that they send you groceries each week, and help you cook them with 10-minute recipes. Cool, cool. I want to love it, but it didn’t feel much different than my regular dinner combos. Sauces seemed to be hit or miss. I did love the cauliflower pasta (no surprise there) and grassfed meatballs, but the veggies aren’t organic and only some of the chicken free range. Ultimately I stopped the weekly deliveries, but I might pick them back up again at some point. Wanna try? $15 off at this link.

Other: Ecomm & Wine

Ordering food from Better Half the other night, I added a bottle of wine that I didn’t intend to drink then but wanted to have on hand. My neighbor said, “I just realized you order wine like I order clothes.” Fact.

Bathroom with new bathmats
The amount of joy these bath mats are bringing me is not proportional to reality
