Covid Checklist Week 21

I thought about adding a category called “Things I Am Learning” to this week’s checklist, but so many of the things that are in other categories fall under that descriptor that I’m not sure it makes sense. It feels like I’ve tried to keep my mind sharp during covid by learning new things, not limited to: hip-hop dance, Portuguese, painting, more about wine, and also am now an amateur epidemiologist… Here’s the Covid convo I’m having this week. Finally, here’s what I learned/kept me covidtained this week…

Workouts

  • One of my yogi sisters found her new fave yoga: Bulldog Yoga. I did a short class (try free at this link) and it was fun, more cardio than I typically look for in my yoga but there are definitely times for that. Great music and instructors, as far as we can tell! Plus, online sub is only $13/mo!
  • In recognition of the Top Seed Open in Lexington (tennis?), they’re inviting people to join a virtual yoga class with teacher Karina Blackwood (her IG here). Free 45-minute class to reduce stress, increase alertness and revitalize the senses. Monday, August 10, 10am CT.

Entertainment

  • HBO Max + FireStick = my tech savvy is on point and my FireStick can stream HBO.
  • Kissing Booth & Kissing Booth 2 on Netflix. Dang do I love high school drama! FWIW, 2 is better than the original, which is rare in a sequel. And 3 is coming out in 2021! (they shot it with 2, thank goodness bc there’s a cliffhanger and I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t find out who/where Elle chooses!)
