As a follow-up to September’s Celeb Drinks in LA/Beer in Encino, we have MORE celeb drinks in LA. After all, Nicole Richie & Kirsten Dunst were sighted at SHOREbar a few weeks ago … should I be a celeb for Halloween—is there a way to do faux-celeb without doing reality star/teen mom/duck dynasty (not that I’m knocking Duck Dynasty or DD costumes)?
Anyway, drink like a celeb with this halloween/fall/winter cocktail by Shorebar: The ACE IN THE HOLE
Recipe: Vanilla-infused Elijah Craig 12 year, lemon juice, orange juice, ginger honey. Shaken, on a Rock.
Celebs don’t need proportions, yo.
I cannot speak highly enough of infusing alcohol. It’s super fun. And everyone thinks it’s super fancy.
But it’s not.
You just stick some flavorful things in a jar/bottle for awhile.
It’s quite lazy, actually.
So do it.
Start with a little whiskey + vanilla. Then you can make this Ace in the Hole like you’re at Shorebar, even if you’re not. Even though you totally could be, since it’s just a neighborhood bar. Where celebs happen to hang. Often.
