I loved my 38th year despite—or because of!—tearing my achilles and changing so many things about how I saw myself and interacted with people and the world. As I’m mobile again, I want to hang on to that Lyssa, so my better-late-than-never birthday list this year focuses on the things I like about myself and my life, that I’d like to continue into my 39th year.

And at some point I did do a report card so 38, which is funny because … well, I don’t even remember doing it. I’m not sure I agree. I’m not publishing it, because who cares?!
