Thanksgiving Gratitude List | Feel Good Thursday 112422

My family is so effing awesome. There are 21 of us, plus my Handsome Humanitarian Warrior’s 3, in Austin for this holiday and I couldn’t be happier. I am so grateful for my cousins. They are all incredible humans. It turns out I haven’t seen some of them in over three years and while we’ve certainly missed life events, the love hasn’t changed and we reconnect without skipping a beat. It’s amazing and wonderful and I’m so grateful.

I’m grateful for my grandparents who created my mom and her sisters and raised them in such a way to stay so connected on down through their kids and their kids’ kids.

I’m grateful for my grandparents who created my dad and his siblings and raised them to be connected, and share their kids lives with each other too.

I’m grateful for walking in to my house to find cousins with door codes sitting on my couch.

I’m grateful for Thanksgiving yoga.

I’m grateful for my dad’s 70th birthday, and steak & lobster.

I’m grateful for Texas camping. Rain. Fires. Fire pits. Fireplaces.

I’m grateful for the support my friends and fam show for my art. The art show was great.

I’m grateful for the new job, the new team, the old team texting me, the stretches the new job is forcing me to make, the opportunities for growth.

I’m grateful for the anticipation of upcoming trips and the joy of travel and discovery.

I’m grateful for the breadth of friend groups I get to enjoy, for the bird gang and football-watching friends and football-playing friends and superbowl-ski-weekend friends and framily.

I’m being rushed by the 24 family members to participate and be present and I am SO excited for it, so we’ll leave this gratitude list better done than perfect … happy Thanksgiving.

I love you, readers.
