GRACEDBYGRIT: Water Shorts?

GRACEDBYGRIT is a new company that just launched late last year, but already has tons of celeb fans—so like a good little faux celeb, I gotta have the gear. Luckily for me, they recently named me an ambassador! I’m too excited.

Check me out playing football in the Land and Sea Logo Booty Short. We start with the booty pic because, well, who isn’t concerned about their booty in booty shorts?

Turns out the company has a great story: chemical engineer with an MBA meets athletic trainer and designs a line to be flattering to all body types, while fit for land and sea activities (think SUP, hiking, immense sweating, etc). Obviously they’re in SoCal, but San Diego. Stay tuned for another post on their tanks—oh em gee their tanks!—but this one is all about the shorts.

Their Land and Sea collection fits and feels like a bathing suit (quick dry but also compression fabric), but more flattering. Shall we call it a water short??? The quick-dry situation? Great for sweat but also post-football jumps in the ocean, which are a must when it’s hot!

No, I do not have any idea what I am doing in the pic of me from the front.

Each piece is UPF 50+ and comes with a safety whistle—a flat whistle designed to stash in one of the TWO pockets (front and back waistband) and be used in the case of emergency. I’m wearing the logo shorts in 4-inch inseam, but they also come in solids, and solids in a 3-inch inseam.

Now here’s the best part: you get to use my Pro Deal for 20% off! At $48 for the solids, that’s $38.40 … barely more expensive than Nike Pros, but perhaps more functional.
