It’s Another Thrilling Thursday

Fresh off the plane from Park City, Utah, I’m happy to dive headfirst into a packed Thursday night. Here’s my itinerary:

6-9pm: TRIBEZA Happy Hour to Celebrate Grand Opening of Bikram Yoga Downtown

We’ve been awaiting this one for awhile: the Westlake studio where I practice Bikram is opening a new downtown location! Get your hot yoga on at the ground floor of the new Gables Pressler residential development at 507 Pressler Street, between Fifth and Sixth Streets.

Celebrate the new spot with fashion mag fave Tribeza and bites from Kenichi, specialty cocktails from Daily Juice and music from DJ Thibault. First 100 guests receive a gift bag from By George, W3LL People, and more!

Schedule and such here.

7-10pm: Caroline’s by STRUT Girls Night Out

Come out with your girlfriends and enjoy an evening of music by DJ Guido, appetizers, and drinks, plus 20% off everything in the store. (p.s. everything is ultra fab!)

Caroline’s is at 3700 Kerbey Lane (next to the original Kerbey Lane Cafe)

8-11pm: Austin Handmade’s Grand Re-Opening at 2009 S. First St.

Fashion show by local designer Robie Dodson of Parsimony, special in-store discounts, free giveaways from participating sponsors such as the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls, and drinks from Sweet Leaf Tea and Treaty Oak Platinum Rum.

Party guests will be able try out the new Austin Handmade Do-It-Yourself Room using simple kits created by Austin artists with instructions and basic supplies available for purchase at the event. Continue with the on-site DIY fun with make n’ take projects provided Austin’s newest creative craft-force, The WonderCraft.

Show entertainment provided by local band Lost Werks and DJ Beef Eigler of High Society. Get your craft on.

Of course, there’s all the Fashion Week stuff too … but that’s an entirely different deal altogether.
