I freakin’ love Mangia Pizza. Large whole wheat Chicago-style crust with spinach and mushrooms, please!
The other night after volleyball, we went to the Draught House to check out the (512) beers. The Wit was much lighter and smoother than the Pale, though both had pretty good flavors. But that’s not the point, the point is that we arrived at the Draught House around 9pm, and they had already closed the kitchen but said it was totally cool if we ordered in food. MANGIA!!
So we ordered a large whole wheat Chicago-style crust with spinach and mushrooms, and it was awesome. I mean, Mangia is awesome anyway, but sitting on the tailgate (of my SUV, so I guess we were technically sitting in the trunk), chilling in the parking lot with Mangia pizza and local beer was pretty much the best thing ever. If you do one thing when the weather is slightly cooler (it was last night!), make it a point to bring a folding chair, sit in the Draught House parking lot, and order a Mangia pizza. (512) 302-5200.
