Double the volleyball

Still feeling kind of puny, but planning to hit up Roaring Fork tonight. Last night I got in some rec leage volleyball, thinking it’d be a nice, light way to test out how sick I really am. Played one match (three games) and felt good but started to tire, but when the next team asked me to stay and play with them, I couldn’t say no. By the end of that match (also three games), I was pretty dang tired. I think I’m better today than last night, though, so I should be able to CrossFit just fine tonight 🙂

Also, we won all our games. Woot!

Jess makes some great points in her Best New Exercises for Her and Him … Really? post. No, men and women don’t need to work out differently, and yes, even women who want to be lean without hugely defined muscles can lift heavy weights and do explosive movements. Why we <3 CrossFit, no?

Georgia is hosting a fabulous handstand clinic this coming Sunday. I am so bummed I won’t be in Austin to partake, so if you are, you MUST, for me.
