I keep missing my self-imposed deadlines. This was written on Thursday:
We’re headed to Idaho Springs for Rapidgrass this weekend on top of the mountain, and it’s gonna be awesome. Even if it’s raining, which it might be.
I’m excited to get out of the heat. The last couple weeks of summer were really intense with Sanne being out of daycare and work schedules being off with me doing the bulk of the parenting (which is understandable and planned, but doesn’t make it less hard!), so a little fresh air mountain time is just what the doctor ordered.
Grateful for:
Rejection, I guess. I took one this week really hard, but am bouncing back even harder. I’ve got fractional work lining up and business ideas are starting to flow as I think through what makes the most sense to build out, and it’s getting me excited.
Recording my podcast, I caught up with three guests this week (one didn’t record, arrrrgh!!!) and the conversations were so diffrent and so fun. My sis in law (featured in this ep) even gave me positive feedback on the other eps, which means a ton coming from her because I’d consider her a podcast connoisseur!
And now I’ve been to Colorado AND IT WAS AWESOME and jam-packed and I LOVE OUR LIFE but I am exhausted and possibly sick or just hiked too hard and slept at 11,500 feet so I will be back on another post with more info (henry) but had to get this published so my blog isn’t only a YAMC pod blog.
