It’s a bold move to title a post Funny.
I’m in a funny mood. I’m amped—it feels like there’s more motion and activity in my job search/work search than ever. It feels like there’s motion in podcasting and h.e.n.r.y. and emceeing and all sorts of Brand Lyssa things (barf). I’m happy—I got to attend the The Well soft-opening with my Cali-girl bestie and we had a great long lunch, the kind only friends of a decade+ can have. I am super excited about my mob wife costume for a party tomorrow (it continues to surprise even me how happy theme parties make me). Sanne’s daycare sent me a video of her DANCING title “Baby Rave” and I couldn’t love it more. Things are good. Things are happy.
I collapsed earlier this week in exhaustion, like literally my body could not go on. Everything is not hunky-dory. We are working hard on day-to-day life. But we are making progress, and motion is making me happy across the board.
I also had this fun Willamette rose of pinot at lunch, so, I mean, there’s that.

- my new hair mousse … I am 1000% still learning how to use it because my hair is HUGE right now, and that’s not exactly the goal, but I did buy volumizing mousse so I am confident it’s gonna be good
- my front pergola vines HAVE REACHED THE ROOF! I have lived here for 8 years and have yet to find the plant that will vine up to create the flower roof of my pergola dreams and we are ON OUR WAY. Thank you wet Spring!!!
