3 Training Goals Before 2013

It’s beginning to look a lot like CrossFit … I’ve been out of a regular CrossFit “box” for quite some time, doing outdoor, .com, Football, and Outlaw WODs. I have the motivation and determination that allows me to train by myself, and I like it. But I also miss the community, the competition, and the coaching. So, I’m back to the basics: training at Aspen CrossFit! I’m also setting training goals, because, well, they help motivate.

Training Goal: Muscle-Up by 2013

Part of my impetus is getting back into some of the gymnastics skills, namely handstand pushups and muscle-ups!

Training Goal: Snatch increase to 115# by 2013

Current max is 105# but ugly. This technical lift is really, really hard to coach yourself on.

Training Goal: Split by 2013

I also want to set a flexibility/yoga goals. I never thought I’d write this in a million years, but my most major yoga goal is to do a split! It’s all about having open hips, and I’m actually pretty close … so I want to get there!

Also … I’M SORE EVERYWHERE!!
