Week of Workouts!

When I’m traveling, it can be tough to get in high quality workouts. This week, I’m proud to report that I got in good stuff EVERY DAY!!

Tuesday: CrossFit Central WOD from Sectionals “Dead Man’s Row”: 2000M Row + as many as possible deadlifts at 185#. I’m sad to report I rowed 6 seconds slower than at sectionals and got an astounding 6 deads less–but that can be blamed on faulty grip, not strength 🙂  Score 7:35 (8:10 row, 7 deads)

Wednesday: Tried Dancers Shape class at the new studio … super fun, very anti-CrossFit, but I love mixing it up 🙂 You should all try it just for a change!

Thursday: Absolutely gorgeous run around Town Lake in my Vibrams + Fila Toning Pants (trying them out for EndlessBeauty.com …) yes, I am often a walking contradiction, and no more so than when I was rocking Primal shoes with wholly technologified pants that promise a 50% increase in muscle workout. More on the pants later.

Friday: 7:15am Power Yoga. Not my fave class ever, and a time I consider ungodly, but I went. So there.

I’ll be on vacation next week in Maine and Vermont, so hopefully I’ll get in some awesome hiking!
