I’m not a routine person – but I am. I am not a scheduled routine person, but I largely do the same things every day. This is changing. I have realized this both because I have very little routine except around the baby’s rhythms, and because within scheduled routine you gain free time, which I sorely need.
It’s been a bit since we had a gratitude list (see: why routine is sometimes helpful?), but there’s, as always, plenty to be grateful for:

- Leaf peepin’ in Colorado
- Il Mago meal with bromance
- A mama and her mama giving me lots of confidence and love
- My mama giving me the same ^
- MCT meal: this incredible orzo salad and turkey meatballs
- ^ that sent me down a fall pasta salad rabbit hole, as the bulk cooking so there’s always food in the fridge thing is critical for me in this season of life!
- anticipation of MCT fam coming to visit
- FaceTimes
- WALK4ALZ in San Diego and all the Michelin Bib restaurants that followed
- Baby’s first hotel
- Bob free-roaming at the ranch
- The daily changes in the baby are such a delight
- Emceeing Backyard Ball with CFF—this year was the BEST yet!
- Possibilities and movement
- New pantry, freshly organized
- Solaro Estate Winery in Dripping Springs—new Texas fave, good wine and great vibe
- Fitness – the garage gym, daily walks, any and all of it I am grateful for
