My Marriage Certificate Trio’s kid left a drawing for me on my desk after a long weekend visit. She’s 8, and creative, thoughtful, and kind. And sensitive. I’m sure it’s a pretty standard message for her age, but I was touched by her support of me … and the other meaning I found.
Fello your hert obviously means follow your heart, right?
But I’m also making it up to mean Fellon or Hello Your Hurt, which is to say: own the hurt, let it take me down, and move through it. Don’t try to be okay. Don’t try to be un-hurt. Fall/Hello/follow the hurt heart and let it be.
Which is probably mostly the same intent as the Follow Your Heart message, except sometimes it’s hard to follow a heart that’s hurting, it’s hard to feel the pain without holding on to it, it’s hard to allow yourself to be hurt.
So I love my reminder 🙂
