1) MicroPlace, an organization that enables loans to the working poor, is offering a Valentine’s special. You can make an investment in the name of someone dear to you, which enables a loan to an entrepreneur in the developing world, who’ll be able to use it to grow her business, and later, pay back the money. Plus, MicroPlace will send a delicious treat of Divine Chocolates (one of the first fairtrade chocolate companies in the world!) to the recipient.
