This Friday the Thirteenth has not, so far, been lucky.
But I am forever grateful for my friends. My incredible, supportive, loving, hilarious friends. They are family, and they are simply the best thing I have ever invested time and energy in. This is related to the Super Bowl Ski Trip IX, but also a phone call that answered a text, an equal amount of outrage at certain situations, and a shopping check-in. Just the best.
I am also SO happy that Sanne is sitting up and trying solids! It’s so much fun. That girl loves a green onion more than any person I have ever met. She took her emotional support green onion to school today. She is meh on normal baby foods like banana and avocado (tropical she loves though) but loves a green onion. It does have some sort of anti-inflammatory property, so I love giving them to her!
I’m grateful our solo 12-hour travel day with a 5 hour flight went well, she’s a great traveler.
I’m grateful for my house, the compound, the neighbros, walking places.
I’m grateful for skiing.
I’m grateful for spring rolls.
I’m grateful for my health, even though my body hurts right now.
I’m *trying* to be grateful for all the peaks and valleys of life.
