This “deadweek” feels like my regular life.
Because time doesn’t exist, nor do calories.
But I am grateful for the time with my baby girl. She is the best thing in the entire world. The cutest, the funniest, the biggest personality, all at only 5.5 months. She’s amazing.
I am grateful for my family, who can jump in, in a pinch, or while we’re just hanging out. I love the pics I have of my aunts and cousins and mom and everyone holding the baby. She’s the family baby.
I am grateful for travel, for the Colorado cabin, for sunshine and cold air and Hot Honey Huggy Lucy the Highlander.
I am grateful for a wonderful, fun, low-key Christmas.
I am grateful for the surprises of 2025. The unexpected space.
My goodness am I grateful for my relationships! They’re so strong. I am so lucky.
I am grateful for the Tacoma, Derby, my love for five years who has gone on to new adventures with Dalton.
I am grateful for the promise 2026 holds. I love the anticipation of what’s to come. It’s gonna be good.
And I’m grateful, that I think it’s gonna be good.
