We head off on Super Bowl Ski Weekend IX tonight! There is no way to adequately express how grateful I am for this group of incredible humans, who have gathered together for almost a decade to ski, watch football, and laugh more than anyone ever thought possible.
This week has been intense on all fronts, and I love it. On the work front, I’ve been facilitating the public launch of a badass website redefining how we interact socially online: UpTrust. It’s my brother’s project, and it’s awesome. We launched yesterday with live AMAs all day, and it was A LOT. It was INSANE. It was very, very cool.
A lot of the conversations focused on AI. Here’s what ChatGPT thinks of me:
Not wrong. Of course it’s not, because it’s fed by me …
- Playing my first doubles volleyball game since pregnancy!! With one of my favorite partners. I have the bug again.
- Grateful for a big birthday dinner at Red Lobster. Cheddar biscuits are as advertised, no reason to eat anything else there.
- Grateful for our babysitter. She’s just the sweetest and baby Sanne loves her.
- Grateful for Austin Wine Merchant recommendations. I presented them with a $10/bottle challenge, and they delivered! It’s really neat having a neighborhood wine shop, in walking distance.
- The Austin weather … it’s not wintery per se but damn if it’s not gorgeous, amazing to have open windows in the house, and fun to walk in 60-70 degree weather!
- Sanne, obviously. She’s just the coolest little baby. She’s eating tropical avocado and chicken sausage and butter and it’s just the best to watch her discover how to do things.
I am so grateful for my life, I am so happy about it. So excited. Have no idea what’s in store.
*you’re not imagining things, I found this draft and am ANNOYED I didn’t schedule it last week. Publishing it now.
