Bounced from San Diego to Orange County to Sonoma, saw friends and pups and family and drank all the wine. Like, all the wine. I felt like part of a team. So much love! And now three friends are coming in from OC and Colorado, and while I love them dearly, all I want to do is sleep.
NONETHELESS! I am grateful that they are here, that I have the kind of friends that travel for random weekends just to hang out.
I now have his initials on my body forever, that’s how deep my gratitude for JB is, for helping shape me into the kind of person who has and values these friendships, both in his life and death.
Back to perhaps the most important things from the week, here were my three favorite wineries:
- DaVero
- Farm and winery, all biodynamic, natural wines … obviously LOVED it.
- Michel-Schlumberger
- Pangloss
I liked every single wine I tasted at each of these wineries—every single one!—and wanted to join all three wine clubs, they were all THAT good.
It was an amazing trip. And now, even more fun times roll …
