HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!! To the man who surprises me with lattes that weren’t actually meant for me and rushes home to make me one that is for me: you are the best and I am so lucky you are my dada.
Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, we’re going to mix it up and do a quick 4×4 FGW: I have so, so many things to be grateful for in my life right now.
- my boys: Brian & Bob
- my freakin family – neighbros, parents, aunts and uncles, cousins, they’re all amazing, and I can’t wait to spend so much time with them this week!
- Turkey Trot? when the heck did we become a Turkey Trot family?!
- my freakin framily – my friends are just the absolute best
The. Future.
- Could not be more excited about my bachelorette party!!
- Or my WEDDING!!
- Or my honeymoon?? (tbd)
- and of course my regularly-scheduled ski trips … Aspen, Super Bowl, and wherever else I end up last minute
I sent a gratitude list to my team at work … while I won’t paste the whole thing, here’s a snippet:
- I’m so grateful for this team, for how collaborative and supportive everyone is
- I am so grateful for the way we treat each other and everyone else in the company: with respect and compassion
- I am so grateful for how much fun we have: the ridiculous chats, the belly laughter on team calls, dressing up as loofahs!
- I am so grateful for you welcoming me with open arms – for trusting me, pushing me, and inspiring me
