… it doesn’t even matter because I never got that handstand pushup. Despite Georgia’s best efforts last-ditch coaching me and Veronica on pillows in my garage yesterday, when it came down to it today, I just couldn’t do it. No amount of adrenaline or desire or visualization could push me up from the ground. Despite lots of support from my judge, Justin, who owns an affiliate in Spring, Texas, outside of Houston–I did some light internet stalking (to steal Lisa’s phrase, I’m good at the internet) to find his Point Break affiliate and give him some love, and Lindsey, who was judging next to me, I just couldn’t get it up. ‘It’ being me, of course.
