A place for the weary to rest, relax, and recharge, from 11 – 4 on March 15th and 16th, Wyatt Brand & Launch787 are opening a patio lounge behind the Launch787 headquarters just behind Moonshine. There, guests can plop down, plug in their phones, and take in some local culture while enjoying:
Music for a Cure
One of my fave low-key events, KGSR in the Morning hosts music sessions in the Four Seasons Lobby Lounge from March 15-19. $5 will get you in, get you outstanding live music, interviews, AND as many breakfast tacos and coffee as you need from 6 – 9am. Door prizes for the first 100 people through the door each morning. This year’s performances include Alpha Rev, Texas Tornadoes (they’re back!), Bob Schneider and the debut of the Court Yard Hounds, the new band featuring The Dixie Chicks’ Emily Robison and Martie Maguire. All proceeds are donated to the Seton Shivers Cancer Center.

Thursday March 17 at noon, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s action packed movie Bitch Slap will be screened at PureVolume House. Starring the sexy young actresses Julia Voth, Erin Cummings and America Olivo, the event features a brunch filled with fast cars, hot girls and crime-fighting adventures at the adrenaline fueled screening of Bitch Slap.
