Fila Skeletoes: A New Kind of Minimalist Shoe
Jumping on the Vibram shoe bandwagon, Fila debuts its first style in the exciting and groundbreaking new minimalist barefoot footwear category (CrossFitters already know, yo). The Fila Skeletoes are a casual activity shoe, the next best thing to walking barefoot. Like high-tech socks, the tough yet soft and ultra-comfortable fitted design is ideally suited for casual outdoor activities like biking, boating, swimming, and walking.
An important comfort design attribute of Skeletoes is the EZ Slide feature that combines the two smallest toes for ease of entry. This is contrary to any other barefoot shoe on the market, and I’m interested to see how it feels. Two-ply nylon, bungee pulls, and two Velcro straps for a perfect fit; rubber soles provide max grip.
