I am enjoying trying to make my own versions of some of the accessories I’ve been seeing (first post here). Here is the latest project I tackled and lots of paracord inspo for future DIY!
Canvas bag upgrade
But for $198 yes that is almost two hundred dollars for a canvas bag, I am pretty sure I can repurpose and make my own … that keychain is paracord and a freakin’ bandana!!

I ripped out the ‘POSTINO’ embroidery, but I could also go ahead and rip out the rest. Whaddya think?
The big upgrade would be fancy handles (or maybe less fancy braided into bandana?) but this is a pretty nice dupe if I do say so myself 😉
Currently trying to figure out how to remove screenprinting from canvas bags so I can make more versions … AI Claude’s suggestions were no help.
Paracord necklace
Y’all. Paracord + charms are IN. And MADE for DIY!!!
Sandals: $260 (!!) – Pretty sure I could take existing lace up sandals and swap paracord in, add some charms, et voilà!
Parker Thatch Daily Bag $560 (!!!!!) but you could just make an add-on paracord strap to any of your purses (though it wouldn’t be as thick or nice as this).
Upgrades if I keep this up: end caps, superglue, and thicker/more hardware!
