Minute by Minute

Relentless Boot Camp yesterday, ZT’s last, was a killer! We did the usual warmup, then instead of hearing a workout we went straight into a minute of whatever exercise ZT called out: jumping squats, plank, lunges, plank, situps, plank, 2 laps, sprawls, plank, squats, leg hold, lunges, pushups, leg hold, crunches, 3 stairs, 2 laps, and more. It was a ton of fun! Not knowing what was coming up next made it hard to gauge my exertion level, which meant I went pretty fast through every minute, which meant I worked HARD. Sweet!

I also hit up some Yoga for Athletes, which was TOUGH. It was not restorative, it was challenging. It might have been too much for my shoulder, because it was hurtin’ a lil’ bit later on in boot camp. It’ll be off these next couple of days though, so no worries. 🙂

My favorite restorative yoga is the HARDCORE STRETCH class I tried a few months back (here’s the story), I’d recommend it to anyone who is tight tight tight from all that CrossFittin’!
