How to Host a Bachelorette Party in Austin

I was really into this series while I was planning the bachelorette party, but now that the event has come and gone I am OVER IT. But because it was awesome, I feel obligated to buckle down and share, because this is an epic itinerary and if you’re planning an Austin bachelorette you should probably copy it.

Elements that were important: sampling lots of types of foods, athletic activities, a boat, and some funny bachelorette swag.

ACTIVITIES!

Yoga at the house with Caitlin Fennessey. Everyone absolutely loved her, and wished they could take classes from her all the time! Yoga with an infusion of pilates. Slip in her DMs (in the good way) here.

Buti Yoga at Ballet Austin with Ashley. Ecstatic dance + yoga = bachelorette party perfect. Every Sunday at 11am.

BOATS // We chose a yacht run by a friend. For wakeboard boats, try ATX Wake with Captain Colton, on Lake Austin or Lake Travis.

Adult Kiddie Pool. Order it on amazon, fill it in your backyard, and laugh.

Mount Bonnell. Iconic Austin views; we’re lucky enough to have a porch to sit on but it’d be fun to walk up the steps and picnic, or just have a toast.

Wander. Always leave time for wandering. This is how we discovered Wendy Wells jewelry, walked Dirty Sixth at 2pm on a chilly Sunday, had time to scoot around South Congress, and still had time to visit Deep Eddy Cabaret for a good ole dive bar experience to close out the weekend.

coming soon: the eats / the swag
