HCG Diet Day 14 – “It is intense, and I didn’t really expect it to be”

I guess I sort of thought this was going to be easy. That the HCG would just make me not hungry, and I wouldn’t think about food all the time. I might even forget to eat.

But I’m not like that. I like to cook and bake, so much so that That Ripped Guy of Mine(TM) listed it as a hobby of mine. I miss experimenting with new recipes both for dinner dishes and baking. I miss going out to eat because it’s just a fun experience. We haven’t been out to eat once except that time in Denver since I started this thing.

But I keep telling myself that it’s only for 21 (42) days, and anyone can do anything in that amount of time. Right?

This morning I weighed in at the same weight as yesterday. A friend who is also about to start on this diet pointed out that I should have taken measurements before I started, but I didn’t, so I did yesterday. After all, that’s what I care about the most, is changing/resculpting my body. And I do see a difference, but just not a huge one. Yet.

But I can’t get discouraged. I will see changes and this will be worth it!! 😀

Breakfast: coffee

Lunch (1p): Spinach salad, 1/2 zucchini, 3.5 ounces chicken in buffalo sauce

Snack (3p): Apple

Snack (6p): Cauliflower frice + tomato sauce

Gym: 1000m row, warmup squats and pushups, Strict Press + OH squat combo 45-65-75-80-85(push press), pullup work, cooldown yoga series

Dinner: Chicken miracle noodle soup with chard … OMG this is maybe the best soup I’ve ever made. SO easy too. But hungry afterward, so I drank a fiber shake.
