From Sayulita to SKO, from Fasting to BOX JUMPS | Feel Good Friday 042822

Dammit Fridays get away from me, don’t they?

This work week has been wild. The things I’ve seen/heard/witnessed this week … let’s just say I cannot be happier that it’s the weekend, coming off my second night in a row where I promise myself I have to be done working before it’s dark (also mainly because I haven’t bought replacement lightbulbs yet for my office).

I’m also on my last day of a fasting-mimicking diet called Prolon that I inexplicably got influenced to buy. I’m not sure it’s brought me the energy, radiance, or reset it promised, but I can tell you there are lots and lots of headaches and stomach rumbles. Totally manageable, and I’m not mad I did it, but verdict’s out on whether I do it again.

BUT! Let’s not dwell on the insanity as I transition from work to weekend, let’s talk about how I GOT CLEARED FOR LIGHT SPORTS! What does light sports mean? Your guess is as good as mine, but I’m thinking practice not games. Shooting a basketball, bumping a volleyball, throwing around a football. I cannot wait! I also got to box jump a 20″ box 3×10, which is waaaaay more than I thought they’d let me do, and made me so happy.

My back, however, has yet to catch up with my enthusiasm.

Y’all I can’t even go back and tell you how awesome Sayulita was, what great fish and food I ate, what beachside massages felt like, how I did a hilarious amount of shopping for someone who travels in a backpack, how I got to spend lovely, relaxing, lovey time with my shatzi.

I can’t even go back and tell you how awesome sales kickoff was, how I killed my presentation and met more coworkers and I store our CRO’s wine in my closet in his Lyssa Locker.

I can’t EVEN go back to last weekend, when my mom spectated rugby with me and we hosted a barbecue after and made new couple friends and walked to oakmont for brunch the next morning and napped and scooted to meet friends and had just a fantastic weekend.

I can’t EVEN EVEN express my gratitude for the fullness of my life, for the friends and family and love that I am lucky enough to be surrounded by.

…Soon I will get the security issue fixed that has limited the photos I post… website maintenance never ends.
