Briidgs backpack in the Long Beach Airport after 18 days of travel

Y’all. After the almost-three-week long adventure last summer, this backpack has been everywhere with me for the past year: from long weekends skiing in Aspen to a few days on the east coast, from a week up the Cali coast covering beaches, cities, and wine country to a birthday trip in the Pacific Northwest, from overnight business trips across the nation from NYC to Charlotte to Chicago to Memphis and longer work trips from Cupertino to Minneapolis, this backpack can literally do it all. It carries clothes for winter pursuits, bikinis and meeting-the-parents outfits, business casual and I’m-about-to-present-to-CIOs suits and heels. I’ve packed laptops and iPads and Chromebooks and snacks and brought home new shoes and recycled glassware (sucker for it) and even a dog bowl. The Briidgs pack has seen airports, hotels, boardrooms, public libraries, malls, lightrails, restaurants, carshares, wineries, trailers, and even bathrooms. This backpack handles it all while looking freaking great doing it.

I have never once regretted choosing this pack over all others, including a fancy new suitcase.

Buuuuut let me not lead you astray, there are three gripes: The top zipper on my backpack broke during my last trip. In such a small bag, everything has its place, so it was pretty disruptive—not because everything didn’t fit, but because everything wasn’t in the place it’d been in for the past year. I’ve also lost two reusable water bottles coming out of the side holders, so if you don’t carabiner them in place, don’t expect them to stay. Lastly, the straps aren’t as padded as true backpacking straps and can start to dig in—worth the tradeoff for looks for me, but fair warning.

New on my radar: Tortuga Backpacks. Virtually met the founder; a few days later my IRL friend offered me her hand-me-down to try out. I’ll report back when I have a chance to put it to the test!

*Not an ambassador, not sponsored, receive nada from this, just want y’all to be able to enjoy this most awesome backpack of ever!
