Okay, okay, I made up the “Dive-In Movie” part, they call it “Splash Party Movie Night,” which is just boring. And this picture looks like it’s from 1993. Anyway, summer Saturdays at Deep Eddy feature a movie projected onto a screen, which you can watch while floating in the pool! Freakin’ sweet.
It’s a family affair, so the movies are “kid” movies, but I would love to see some of these classics again! Fee is just the price of admission to Deep Eddy, which for adults is $3. Movies start at dusk.

So dive in! Deep Eddy, if you don’t know, is the oldest swimming pool in Texas and located just off Mopac and Lake Austin Blvd, just down the hill from Deep Eddy Cabaret, one of the BEST dive bars in the city.
