Clarked | Feel Good Friday 053119

I’m going to just pretend I published this on time on Friday …

Perhaps ironic for a post named after him, I did not take one single photo with my Bromance this past weekend … oh, except in countless photobooths. So those analog memories will have to live on (in my guest bathroom) while this perfect Sunday pool day lives on forever on the internet.

Bromance booked a last-minute trip to Austin, and we adult kiddie pooled, had dinner at Tanuki (duh that Aspen-Austin connection is too real), real pooled, and had a complete and utter blast. He left on Monday, and I thought I’d have the day to recover, but instead I had an absolutely magical Clarksville adventure.

This week, two months in to my new gig, I presented to some very senior executives at a very very big company—solo. It went extremely well, and I am excited for future meetings with this client and others. In a week of dramatic ups and downs at work, this was a big win. I’m grateful.

Also! Happy 70th birthday, Nalgene!

Who knew that Nalgene, the “OG” reusable water bottle, turns 70 this year?! To celebrate, the iconic brand has created a limited-edition commemorative bottle that brings back the “Mountain Lion,” its first logo, launching today in two colors, Clementine and Olive, at Nalgene.com ($11.99).  I once sent two great guy friends of mine to REI in search of a “piney forest” Nalgene and they bought it … and my current Bumble BFF Nalgene is covered with stickers, as is the trend. Nalgene will also offer celebratory 70th Anniversary limited-edition stickers as a gift with purchase on Nalgene.com for the remainder of 2019. They say: a nod of gratitude to Nalgene fans everywhere who created the tradition of honoring precious memories and adventures with stickers on their bottles. I say: things I don’t need but definitely already popped over to their website to buy include this new Nalgene.
