You know how much I love shopping. But I’m wary of a random event that just pops up and won’t tell you what brands it’s selling, but says they’re something you’ll like. That’s like going to a flea market that offers discounted Wal-Mart clothes and hearing them tell me the same. This led me to tweet @C3 Outfitters with a “who are you brands?!”

Hrmph. The pictures have a label I don’t recognize unless it’s White Mountain and I thought they only made shoes, so they are not helpful. And looking at pictures of t-shirts does nothing to tell me about quality. And Crockett Center is no Palmer Auditorium. BUT C3Outfitters has done an incredible job of marketing its event, twittering its face off and offering text-in and twitter-in discounts, and you’ve gotta respect that drive. So if I get a chance tomorrow, I might just go check it out. If anyone else goes, PLEASE report back … fashionistas/recessionistas need to know if we’ve got a new LeGarage/Denim Warehouse on our hands!
