It’s one of my favorite times of year: the Blondes vs. Brunettes Powderpuff Football Game benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. This year’s game will be June 5 at House Park, and the Blondes are going down again. Pictures sometimes speak better than words:

Most. Epic. Game. Ever.
Last year, the Brunettes were down 13-0 at halftime due to a rainy first half, but we rallied during halftime and came back to win a 20-19 thriller in the last minute. I cannot wait to play again. I went to my first practice today and it was super fun. I’m the QB but got to play receiver some too, which was great. I LOVE FOOTBALL!
I am so happy to be doing what I love … and thank goodness the injured shoulder isn’t my throwing one 🙂
Congrats to everyone who competed in CrossFit Central’s Affiliate Team Tryouts yesterday. Watching everyone I was a) jealous I couldn’t do the workouts but mostly b) excited by the community around CrossFit. That’s why we all come back. Because we love the sport, but we love the people who do the sport just as much. Awwwww!
