I made the mistake of browsing a few comments on this amazing youtube vid and while I’m certain readers of my blog are well aware of the following, I reiterate: feminism is about equality. Equality is about respect. This song is calling out a disconnect between rhetoric and reality that does not discount any other permutations of that reality—because to discount is to disrespect, and, as discussed, feminism is about respect.
