You guys, I haven’t been everywhere but it’s on my list—of places I went this past year. Here’s a list:
Hawaii, Tahoe, Aspen, Mammoth, Omaha, Austin (Feb, April, Dec), Fresno, Rae Lakes/Kings Canyon, Asheville, Pebble Beach/Paso Robles/Santa Ynez, Portland, Denver & Aspen, Joshua Tree, a few camping weekends in there, Houston, Tahoe again for New Year’s! … it doesn’t seem like that much when it’s written out like that, does it?!
I am so incredibly grateful for the ability to travel, the ability to work remotely when I need to and take off time when I need to. It’s an amazing luxury that I am very, very grateful for. And I’ll end 2016 traveling in a place I love, Lake Tahoe, doing a thing I love, skiing (in new mountains to boot!), with people I dearly love. I am so lucky and so grateful.
Upcoming travel for 2017: more Aspen trips, an out-of-the-country trip (gotta do those every so often … Cuba, Portugal & Amsterdam on the list for various reasons, we’ll see which happens); a trip to Ohio State during football season, Antelope Canyon, possibly Orlando (ugh), hopefully Spokane/more Sandpoint … and we’ll see what else comes up!
