My favorite lunch spot near my office is called Tacos & Co, but we call it Tacos & Tacos for some reason. They have THE BEST fish tacos. I have never eaten anything else there, so I can’t vouch for it, but their fish tacos, side salad, and guacamole is a to-die-for (and huge!) lunch for under $10. Tacos without everything else are $2 ALL THE TIME.
Back when deal sites first started, I posted about a lot of them—groupon, livingsocial, eversave—and really enjoyed exploring Austin with the deals, discovering new things. But I haven’t used those sites much in Orange County, mostly because recently I’ve felt like the deals are just stale. The deal or two I have bought didn’t feel like a great value, it felt like they jacked up the price to discount it—and I’m no cynic.
Luckily, there’s a forgotten deal site that recently reached back out to me: CrowdSavings. Clunky name, maybe, but they hooked me because the first deal they told me about? That’s what I’d spend for one lunch, and this way I can treat a friend (or buy dinner too … let’s not lie).

It’s worth giving CrowdSavings another shot for deals in Orange County. They’ve also got deals in Austin and lots of other places.
