my mom does NOT make my lattes every morning. but she does when she’s in town!!
Denali and I walk on the beach every morning. Sometimes (okay, fine, a lot of times), I’m late so we only get a 15- or 20-minute walk, but sometimes we get these fabulous leisurely walks, where I sip a latte and look around for the dog catcher before slyly letting her run free along the beach. You’ve no doubt seen these pics.
This is why I love not-summer at the beach (thanks BTS!).
There are less pics of Denali asking for her treats, but she also does this every single morning when we return from the beach. And every single morning, I call her a piglet.
I buy her a variety of treats, but in the name of starting new routines with the onset of fall and back-to-school (which neither of us attends but oh well), we’re trying Milk-Bone’s Good Morning Daily Vitamin Treats. They’re bite-sized, so I feel better about giving her a ton of them to make up for my extreme dog-mom guilt of leaving her at home while I’m at work.
Healthy bonus: giving her treats reminds me to take my own probiotics in the a.m.—win-win!
