Budweiser Made In America Festival #MadeinAmericaFest

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Budweiser Made In America Fest. All opinions are 100% mine and they had NO right of approval.

There are a few things about Orange County that I get mad at my friends for not telling me. Like, they’ve lived here longer than me, they should KNOW that I DON’T know things!

At first, I thought that’s what was going on with Budweiser Made In America Fest, this ridiculously awesome bi-coastal music festival slated for Labor Day Weekend (August 30th & 31st) (aka my birthday weekend) in Grand Park in Downtown LA. But turns out the festival is new this year, with the distinction of being the first American festival to run simultaneously on both coasts—the other festival is in Philly.

The Budweiser Made In America Fest lineup is ABSURD, particularly for a new festival. Where to even begin? And how did they get so many performers to flip flop coasts and perform on both? I love it.

LINEUP:

Imagine Dragons, Kanye West, John Mayer, Steve Aoki, Juanes, Afrojack, Kendrick Lamar, Rise Against, Weezer, Sublime with Rome, Metric, Capital Cities, Chance the Rapper, Cypress Hill, Gareth Emery, R3HAB, Schoolboy Q, Wolfgang Gartner, Borgore, DVBBS, 12th Planet, YG, Mute Math, Rita Ora, Nipsey Hussle, Dr. Dog, Terraplane Sun, ZZ Ward, Classixx, Hit-Boy, DJ Mustard, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock, SZA, Yellow Claw, Grits & Biscuits, Will Sparks, Cut Snake, Scavenger Hunt, A Tribe Called Red

Who is your fave out of the lineup? The most surprising?

I love the trend of mixing genres more so than ever before in music festivals, and it appears Budweiser Made In America Fest is totally embracing this trend. It makes sense, being in LA and all, but still. Plus, the festival benefits the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and has a “Cause Village” showcasing LA charity work. How rad is that? The village features the Shawn Carter Foundation, United Way, Headcount, Budweiser Veterans, Tyler Robinson Foundation (Imagine Dragons charity), Dogs without Border, Hire LA, Food Forward, United States Green Building Council, LIFT Los Angeles, Skid Row Housing, LA Street Car, and LA Street Gallery.
