Posting on Instagram, I accidentally typed #ilivemyjob instead of #ilovemyjob. Right now, both are true.
I work for a company that is acquiring another company, doubling us in size, including number of employees, revenue, locations, clients, everything. It’s exciting, awesome, and stressful.
I am proud. I am stressed. I am learning so. damn. much. It’s the coolest thing to be a part of something so big.
I am overwhelmed—buying a house and announcing the acquisition of a company at the same time is not a recommended set of activities. Nevertheless, I am thrilled about both.
So right now I may live my job, but I love my job too. And I am really, really grateful for that fulfillment.
This is also why I’ve been posting less, but don’t worry, I’ll be back with your regularly scheduled effusive posts about products I love, beauty, the gym (what IS the gym??), and living the life of a faux celebrity.
