Hydration Wearable, Maku Shoe – and other Kickstarter projects I’ve backed

It’s no secret I love entrepreneurship, and I love cruising kickstarter—I am really very picky about what I actually back though. These are the top two things on my radar right now:

lvl_render-21-1LVL

I want this. A lot. $119 on kickstarter (retail $199)
A wearable hydration monitor (!!!), LVL (pronounced “Level”) is a brand new wearable that measures hydration AND heart rate, sleep quality, and oxygen levels. Alllll the things!! And in a gorgeous design that looks way fancier while being way cooler than any of the other wearables. http://www.onelvl.com/?ksid=126068

MAKU

I want these. A lot. $59 on kickstarter (retail $95). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/404436381/1278760669

They are super-comfy, super-durable sandals—better than being barefoot with foot protection and a heel cup, but as free as possible. Right up my alley. (In the interim, I wear havianas and NO flip-flops).

My Past Investments on Kickstarter

Fave

Elizabeth & Clarke Unstainable

Happy About It

Bare Bands – a friend’s company; I don’t sport this watch daily but I do like it and am still happy I supported its launch.

TBD

Elizabeth & Clarke Unstainable Workwear Collection – see above, the Unstainable which I love, which both suckered me into backing this collection and caused me to sign up for their subscription service, which I don’t love—the classics are great, but their seasonal collections haven’t been as versatile as I expected. So we’ll see how this Workwear Collection works out. Stay tuned.

My Biggest Fail

I kickstarted this when it was called Coin and I have literally never used it.
