Here’s How I’m Gonna Un-Overtrain

If I’m even overtraining 🙂 Anyway, I’m gonna take on this 24 Day Advocare Challenge that Megan (and Alex … and Jess) is so pumped up about. I’ve only tried Advocare once before, during Spartan last year, and I didn’t think it made a huge difference. BUT so many of my friends swear by it that it makes me curious, and a short-and-easy(ha!) 24-day cleanse is just what I need.

So I’m taking some supps, abstaining from sugar, alcohol, grains, and dairy (in order of importance), and committing to this workout schedule:

  • 1-2 days/wk yoga (bought my class pack at King Yoga!)
  • 3 days/wk CrossFit ABC123 Nature’s Garage Gym boot camp-style workouts prescribed by Megan, with accountability and goal times (yay!)
  • 2+ recreational fitness things/wk (hike, basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, bike ride)
  • long walks with Nali whenever possible

I will start tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8 (the day I head back to Aspen from Austin) and finish July 1, meaning I will eat a big, fat cookie July 2. Now, Food & Wine Festival in Aspen is June 18-20, so I don’t want to put off the cleanse but if by some miracle I get tickets or invited to an event, I will drink wine and potentially eat cheese, but WILL STILL abstain from all sugar.

I’m excited!!
