GUTS!

pro15render_1_grandeSometimes eating food at work at my desk send my stomach into a Nickelodeon GUTS-esque belly adventure. Am I going to have bathroom runs all afternoon? Hold in some gas and get bloated? I’ve been pounding kombuchas for months and popping probiotics and it helps but hasn’t altogether alleviated the belly pain.

When a new patented probiotic called Hyperbiotics asked me if I’d like to try, of course I said yes. I mean, why the hell not? With 15 strains, these probiotics are viable without refrigeration, survive past stomach acid, and only use human resident strains (as opposed to soil based organisms or active yeasts). Hyperbiotics has live probiotic formulas covered by 60(!!!) patents.

I’ve been supping every night for not even two weeks, and my digestive health is noticeably better. Do not be fooled—it’s definitely not a change in diet, if anything my diet has been worse recently and I’ve cut back on the ‘booch—so it’s gotta be this supp. I almost can’t believe it, but so far so freakin’ good.

I sampled the PRO-15, which is the baseline probiotic with 15 strains and a time-release formula. Hyperbiotics were already #1 on Amazon, but they just launched at Target earlier this week with 4 other varieties besides the one I tried, so they’re even more accessible than before. $25/60 tablets (1-3/day, I’m on the 1 sched).

Bonus: the female founder also founded Change for Women, a collective of creative leaders and businesses standing together to make a difference in the world by supporting more than 18 hand-selected, local and global nonprofit organizations that represent six important issues faced by women and girls today: economic empowerment, education, equal rights, maternal health, breastfeeding and parental support, and women’s health and family planning.
