Crazy Dog Owner Quest: A New Charitable-Giving, Fair Trade, Eco-Friendly, Recycled Leash

Does a charitable-giving, fair-trade, eco-friendly, recycled dog leash exist? No, not that I have found. But here are a few other options that fit one of those categories …

C_TFB_previewL-TFB2M_2_previewThis is the one I want (but won’t buy myself … $60 for a leash?!) Found My Animal promotes animal adoption through the product, they say: “let your pet wear your values. By encouraging rescue over purchase, we support animal welfare by asking pets and their owners to help deliver our simple, important message.”

Not sure it’s that strong of a case, but the leashes and collars are handmade in the U.S., by all accounts durable, and well, mainly just plain gorgeous.

There IS a recycled P.E.T. bottle version here, but not on the company website.
