I don’t know who this Michele Whoever designer is, nor what she’s selling at this trunk show (er, um, jewelry). All I know is that I popped in to Embellish once just to see what it was all about, and I fell in love. I haven’t even had my nails done there and I still love it! That’s just ridiculous.
The owner of this salon in the Triangle was telling a very annoyed (UT coed) patron that they didn’t have any openings for that day, and the patron just didn’t seem to get it. The owner was very sweet but very firm. I loved her. They do their pedis in armchairs with buckets (much more sanitary, easier to clean, she says) and their manis sitting on barstools at a swooping bar–the kind you see at The Marq, not generally the nail salon. I also hear they feed you snacks and drinks …
Oh, and one of their manicurists was named best in the biz by Austin Monthly in their Beauty Issue this month. Quality, people, quality.
